What's new? Well, since the last update Matt & Heather were wed, Alicia & Jesse Dean were wed, Aryn turned two. There are new houses, new pets, new degrees, new jobs and new haircuts. There are even new portraits! Lynn Lupetti has finished all of them, including Holly's, which now hangs in our entryway. But with MySpace and Facebook, blogging and YouTube there isn't really a need for people to post things here on CrystalOak. So for now, at least, we will let it be a scrapbook of memories, and a place to end as we began -- a place where email addresses need not change with ISPs or careers, and where the roots we put down can continue as we connect with the people who matter most in our lives.
Over the years I wrote many "temporary" photo logs to share trips or holidays with family & friends that were unable to attend. I have done a bit of rummaging in the disconnected nether sections of our sprawling website and have reconnected the best of these as "photo essays". You'll find links to them in the Essays index and under "Photo Essays" in my Contributors page. I have also uncovered quite a collection of Timpanogos photos; I hope to link them together into a collage of mountain moods in the near future.
Thank you for sharing and for caring. Check back from time to time; things may still change. Most of all, thanks for the sweet memories. Let's make more.
