Matthew is Engaged!!!
Matthew will wed Heather Christine Taylor on September 18th under the trees in her grandmother's back yard. It's where her mother was wed, and it's where she's always dreamed of getting married. The couple have elected to have a very small wedding, but you're all invited to come and say hi to them on Saturday, September 20th at Dale & Terry's house.
Matt & Heather met while attending UCAS, the high school attached to Utah Valley University. Matt graduated with his high school diploma and his UVU associate's degree in March. Heather got her high school diploma and is only a few credits from her associate's degree as well. Currently they're both working at the East Bay RV Park. They're taking the fall semester off (who needs to go to school AND get married at the same time?) but plan to return to UVU for spring semester.

In other news: Dale, Terry, Matt & Erik took an epic trip through Canada's Northwest Territory and Alaska during June & July. Terry plans to take over as Crystal Oak webmaster and put up a travelogue complete with lots of great photos. But she has to learn to edit webs first, so give her a little time!

Lynn Lupetti has completed the portraits for Scott and Erik. I don't have a good photo of Erik's portrait yet, but here's Scott's. They're both fabulous! Lynn tells me she has started working on Matt's portrait, so we'll probably see a preliminary in a few months.
