Crystal Oak Fairy Concept Sketch #3
This was Sarah's favorite of the three sketches. This reproduction really doesn't do it justice; the original is too big to fit onto my flatbed scanner. So if you want to really appreciate it you'll have to stop by my office some day. I worried that this sketch had a little too much skin for my "family" website when I made my initial choice. But of course by the time I created the site I'd fallen so in love with this sketch too that I couldn't bear to leave it out completely. So I got permission to use it on the "About Us" page. The entire issue of what is and is not appropriate material for Crystal Oak is still an open subject. Steve gave me some very good advice at one point. I'd very much like to hear others' opinions. Perhaps I'll open a conversation thread on the subject here soon.
