Awaiting a Kiss

by Alyse Neibaur
February 27, 2006

The unexplainable moment
As their love truly binds
Awaiting a kiss
T’is so perfect in their minds

Grace, herself
Mending petals at her feet
Awaiting the stride
Of a hearts gentle beat

Only one thought
As strength stands her side
Awaiting her destiny
Catching tears she has cried

As there he stands
So handsome and strong
Awaiting her hand
His heart breaths a song

Glimpsing at beauty
Another tear will drop
Grasping her hand
Their hearts nearly stop

Understanding so deeply
For now their hearts bind
Kissing so tenderly
Just as imagined in their mind
